Welcome, Andalusia’s warmth awaits you!

This 10-day tour will take you right into the Soul of Andalucía. We have prepared for you an unhurried, ten-day journey of Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, Málaga, and their surroundings. You will visit magnificent venues of historical impact, savor foods that reflect the amalgamation of the cultures that lived in this ancient land, participate in fun language mini lessons, and go to events where you will experience the yugen and duende of this region.

Day 1

(September 18)

Welcome to Seville

You will be taken from Seville Airport or Santa Justa Train Station to hotel (three pick-up times). Your hosts will meet you at 7 p.m. at the hotel, then we'll go for a light stroll around the neighborhood, and delight in a delicious welcome meal at a local restaurant with your fellow travelers.

Day 2

(September 19)


Wonderful Seville

Seville was the hub of the Spanish Empire and it will dazzle you. Tour activities don’t start until 10 a.m. so you don’t have to rush, enjoy your delicious breakfast and join us in an entertaining Spanish class. Our local guide will show you the Archive of the Indies, created in the 1700’s to bring together under a single roof all the documentation regarding the overseas empire, and Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic church in the world. As we stroll around the city, you’ll encounter history at hundreds of niches and corners. We will savor seasonal dishes at the midday meal. Afterwards, you will have time for yourself to discover more of Sevilla.  At 8 p.m., you may choose to join us for a beautiful sunset at the Metropol Parasol, a futuristic structure with amazing views of the city.

Day 3

(September 20)


Regal Seville

After your delicious breakfast and fun Spanish class, we will explore the Royal Alcazar, one of the oldest palaces in use in the world today, ramble through the old Jewish quarter with its quaint plazas and narrow streets, visit the iconic Maria Luisa Park with its Plaza de España and beautiful gardens, and Carmen’s old Royal Tobacco Factory. After a fabulous midday meal and siesta, you can enjoy free time in Seville.

Day 4

(September 21)


Jerez de la Frontera Day Tour- Regal Horses and Sherry

Breakfast and Spanish lesson, then a wonderful trip to this small city famous for its Sherry wine. Enjoy the excitement of the Royal Equestrian School, enjoy a tasty midday meal, go to a wine tasting at Tio Pepe Winery, and end the day with a nice evening meal before returning to Seville.

(September 22)


Roman Ruins, Monasteries, and Olive Oil

After breakfast, we’ll load up our luggage and visit the ruins of Italica, first Roman city in Spain where Emperors Trajan and Hadrian were born. We’ll visit San Isidoro del Campo monastery where the first translation of the Bible into Spanish began, the so-called Bible of the Bear. We’ll enjoy an appetizing midday meal and on our way to Córdoba, we will stop at the Hacienda Guzmán, a historic farm from wich olive trees were taken to America, and sample excellent olive oils.  We will then part to Hotel Monasterio de San Francisco in Palma del Río, Cordoba, a preserved monastery turned into a hotel built in 1492 where Fray Junipero Serra stayed before going to America with orange trees. The hotel’s award-winner restaurant will provide the evening meal.


Day 6

(September 23)


Cordovan Oranges, and Flamenco

Enjoy breakfast with local delicacies and join the Spanish lesson of the day. We will stroll through Palma del Río’s old town, enjoy a private tour of the Portocarrero Palace where we will enjoy art, botanic, and sample orange products. From the palace, we will depart for the city of Cordoba where we’ll have a delicious Cordovan meal and time to relax. In the evening, we’ll revel in a passionate flamenco performance and taste a delicious evening meal.

Day 7

(September 24)


Cordoba: Medieval Europe’s Greatest City

Wake up in classy Cordoba, have your breakfast and fun with your Spanish lesson. Then get ready to be dazzled by the magnificence of the Great Mosque-Cathedral, witness the Roman imprint around the city, and feel the enchantment of its old Jewish quarter. Discover more of this welcoming city during your free time until we depart for Granada at 6 pm. We’ll stop in Antequera for our evening meal.

Day 8

(September 25)


Enchanting Granada

Your eyes will open in Granada, the Moorish Jewel, with the magnificent Sierra Nevada in its background. After a warm breakfast, we will enjoy the stunning Alhambra with its breathtaking palaces, gardens and views. After the midday meal and siesta, we will visit the spectacular Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel where Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand are buried. You will have free time to roam and discover the beautiful sights and places of the Albaicín quarter.

Day 9

(September 26)


Lovely Málaga 

The Spanish city most connected to the American Revolution will receive you with open arms. The “Manquita” Cathedral, the Roman ruins, and the Moorish Alcazaba are only a few of the iconic venues that will make you want to come back. After an early evening meal, we’ll return to our hotel in Seville.

Farewell to Andalucía

Breakfast, check out, and departures from Seville to catch your final flight.

Included in Your Tour

  • Transportation from the assigned airport or train station to hotel and from hotel to the assigned airport or train station via scheduled transfers will be provided on the first and last days of the tour respectively. IMPORTANT NOTE: To plan pick-up times, you must provide us with your up-to-date travel itinerary via email as soon as possible.
  • Transportation by deluxe coach with private driver is provided to several sites and between the scheduled cities. Smaller groups may be transported in minivans for day trips.
  • Accommodations at planned 3- and 4-star hotels. Hotels may be substituted for another of equal or higher quality if the need arises. Please note that “single occupancy” refers to someone traveling alone and using a room for him/herself.
  • All breakfasts and at least one other main meal will be provided daily while travelling with the group. A third main meal (lunch or supper) may be provided depending on the specifics of a given tour. Meals during the scheduled “free times” are at your own expense. You may also choose not to join the group for meals at your own expense.
  • Entrance fees to all scheduled exhibitions and visits. Sightseeing may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • English speaking guides will be with you during the activities provided by the tour.
  • Short, fun, thematic Spanish language lessons will be available every morning during or after breakfast before departure for the first activity of the day. This may not be a feature in some of the special and private tours.
  • Trip administrative cost and logistics, reservations and paperwork.
